This week’s class session was all about myths--and was truly engaging and informative. Although I was sick and doing my best to be heard, my group presentation went well--it was wonderful to work with Kaitlin and Lisette. We chose to present the contradictory character of the Hindu goddess, Kali--who was presented as beautiful/terrible, victim/victimizer, a true paradox.
I enjoyed the other two group presentations and especially valued the historical context that was provided before the analysis of each particular myth. I’m looking forward to the remaining presentations on Monday!
