Week 6 Reflection

        This week's session was interactive and productive! My group and I had the chance to discuss our myth of Kali Beheaded and create a plan of attack. We discussed the importance of providing the context of the female divine before explicating Kali, and became immersed in the complexities of Hinduism. It's truly difficult to do any of the myths justice in the thirty minute presentations, for they all contain a plethora of references, nuances, and complexities which go beyond the mere words in our text, but introducing the basics will surely enhance our myth-knowledge and further our interests. I am looking forward to today's presentations!
